Jane Moss Livsey
Our founder and president, Jane Moss Livsey, graduated from the University of Florida in April of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her father, John Moss, who passed away in 2016, was her inspiration for starting Women's Empowerment Services of NE Florida, Inc. He taught Jane and her older sister the importance of an education and encouraged them to be strong, independent, self-reliant women.
Her previous work, as an intern, at the Women's Center of Jacksonville's Expanded Horizons Literacy program gave her experience with GED preparation services. Through her work there she also saw a need for assisting women in all aspects of their lives.
